We are finally out of the energetic field of the eclipses my friends, and I feel like I got punched in the face. That’s mostly because I had to have a tooth extracted at the end of the week last week, but the metaphor extends well to my entire eclipse season experience. Some parts of me have been removed in the last four weeks, parts I didn’t need anymore, parts that were making me unwell even. But this wasn’t the kind of gentle healing where you just breathe and practice letting go. Someone had to numb me out and get in there with forceps. It was a deep, skeletal, foundational healing.
Not everyone experienced these eclipses so personally and viscerally, but everyone felt the activation in the group field. We can take a deep breath now, or several, as the structures of democracy held, the people voted (mostly) for sanity and sincerity, and the astrology has lightened up considerably this week. The moon is now waning, supporting both processing and release, and we are halfway to our first proper new moon reset since the end of September. In celebration of the end of all these lunar power outages, I thought I’d post a bit of some background writing on the moon, and why I’m so into it. There are no writing or ritual prompts this week - just encouragement to process in whatever way you need to and enjoy these easier vibes.
